“once the beat is right” is a project developed by the collective “Are We There Yet?” for Floating University, in the seminar of Phil Collins, Ale Bachlechner and Tobias Yves Zintel at KHM, Cologne.

“once the beat is right” revolves around the idea of an open stage karaoke hosting spoken word performances. The songs are written and produced by “Are We There Yet? ” and are inspired by encounters with people, alternative institutions and community centres in and around Tempelhof.
