Guided is a short film exploring the quote "As Above So Below; As Within So Without” in relationship to body borders and the outside world. Spaces within us, architectural spaces, divided lands as well as digital spaces formulate a series of questions regarding limits, gender, language and objectification.
Comparing the artistic process to a puzzle, Cievil Momo start their performance by walking around the exhibition space signifying the beginning of framing an action.
At the end of this silent guided tour, they sit down by the installation.
On the floor there is a 1000 pieces puzzle of a digital collage.
The frame of the puzzle is made by the performer.
During the opening hours of the exhibition the audience can continue the puzzle while having the chance to watch "Guided."
Through this action, the installation becomes an island platform.
The claiming of time and space for the continuation of the puzzle becomes a performative act and a meeting point of interactive behaviour where discussions are welcome.
