No apes, no bus, no pearls.

I am so sorry for your loss.

I climbed up the hill on a Thursday afternoon.

Sweet, cyanobacteria free tears.

Whispers…

I am so sorry, for your loss…

"Anthropo–Sin II" emerges from a broader research inquiry into the Anthropocene epoch, a proposed geological era marked by significant human impact on Earth's systems.

The project takes as a conceptual springboard the "Venus Syndrome", a theory by climate scientist James Hansen.

Hansen warns that Earth’s accelerating climate instability and heightened sensitivity to carbon dioxide could lead to a runaway greenhouse effect, akin to the one that may have caused Venus’ oceans to evaporate entirely.

This installation presents a dystopian vision shaped by that research. A looping video projection, accompanied by a computer-generated voice, narrates a fragmented short story: ordinary actions unfolding in a post-apocalyptic outdoor landscape.

The work is a meditation on environmental grief, human absence, and the haunting persistence of memory in a world transformed.

A watermelon that takes you home.
